ITS has updated the computer labs in university libraries.
University students typically have access to individually owned computers, but they also frequently rely on lab computers. Before the start of the semester, ITS replaced thin client computers in the libraries on the Storrs and regional campuses with 220 powerful computers, which include a combination of Macs and PCs. These computers were deployed with current operating systems and locally installed software. The new equipment is more reliable and will substantively improve overall performance. We ask for your assistance making our community aware of the improved resources available to them.
