The Office of the Registrar has historically offered information about centrally-scheduled classrooms on their website. A table listed rooms and their key characteristics, such as capacity and technology available.  This enabled instructors to advocate for and/or best prepare to use their teaching and learning environment.  ITS, Office of the Registrar, and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) have collaborated to improve the usefulness of this faculty resource.  ITS developed a plugin to display a thumbnail for each of the nearly 200 classrooms and provide filters to refine searches.  When you click on an individual room, you will go to a page that features a 360 panoramic image of the classroom, captured by CETL, along with a complete list of its characteristics.  The new directory is available at classrooms.uconn.edu/classroom for the Storrs campus and is coming soon to the regional campuses.
