UConn Early College Experience provides opportunities for non-matriculated high school students to take UConn courses at their school.  They previously utilized a software product called Compass, separate from the Student Administration System, to support registration for this concurrent enrollment program.  Students reported that Compass was much too complicated to use.  In response, ITS partnered with the offices of Early College Experience, Registrar, and Bursar to select and implement DualEnroll.com as a replacement because it offered a more comprehensive capability and better streamlined experience.  It automates registration, instructor on-boarding, and course credentialing; generates fee bills and processes program fee waivers at the time of registration; supports online payment; sends targeted reminders to keep processes on track; and offers a full suite of reports derived from stored data.  More information about DualEnroll.com at UConn is available at magazine.ece.uconn.edu/2021/07/01/next-generation-of-student-registration/.
