Beginning in August, the University is renovating the Gant Science Complex, and before construction starts, ITS offices housed in the building have relocated or are relocating to the following areas on campus:
- Audiovisual and Collaborative Technologies moved to Rowe Building, room 321 in March.
- The Technology Support Center is moving to the first floor of the Homer Babbidge Library between Friday, July 7 and Monday, July 10.
- All other ITS offices currently housed in Gant will be moving to a temporary office building behind Gampel Pavilion the week of August 7.
- The Data Center will remain in the Math-Science wing of Gant at this time.
We do not anticipate any outages to university systems during the transition, but specific individuals may be difficult to reach for brief periods while they relocate. We have also begun piloting Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) capabilities within ITS. All phone numbers for ITS employees will remain the same, and reachability will be impacted only while existing phones are unplugged. Addresses for the new locations and additional information are available at uitsrelocation.uconn.edu.
